ETHERIDGE GOES ON BIRDIE BINGE - BAGS SIX AND $$$$$$!!
PUBLISHED JUNE 21, 2014
Well, everybody’s heard about the bird – bird, bird, bird, bird is the word, bird, bird, bird, bird is the word – don’t you know about the bird? Well, everyone knows that bird is the word, bird, bird, bird, bird is the word – Surfer Biiiiiiiiird! Why resurrect this 1963 American classic? Because the PDGA has a birdie machine, and his name is Craig Ethridge. While draining the bank accounts of Al Liskunas, Jon Dietz, and Mike Skiera, Craig notched six birdies in one round at Pelican Pointe Saturday. His putting was so on the mark we examined his balls later for GPS tracking devices. Sadly, we didn’t find any, so we had to pay (Craig needs to know when he clips the boys that badly the waitresses at Applebees get stiffed!). Craig is a newbie, but now the word is out – Shark! In 1961 Paul Newman made a movie called ‘The Hustler.’ In the movie Newman’s character Fast Eddie Felsen runs the table on some punk in a back alley pool hall. The punk’s friends break Felsen’s thumbs (think about that, Craig, next time you tee it up!)
