Today is also the birthday of Graham McDowell, born in Portrush, Northern Ireland in 1979.
McDowell played golf at University of Alabama at Birminham and won 9 times in his collegiate career for the Blazers.
He turned pro in 2002 and has 4 wins on the PGA Tour, including the 2010 US Open at Pebble Beach. He was the 1st Northern Irishmen to win the US Open.
He was on the winning Ryder Cup teams in 3 or his 4 appearances.
